The teams

How this tournament works

1. 

   You play as a team

   You and your partner sign up together and play every match together. Twelve teams take part.

2. 

   Two groups of six

   The club splits the teams into two groups. Your team plays each of the other five teams in its group once.

3. 

   The top two go through

   Each group is ranked on games won minus games lost, then on games won. The top two teams in each group reach the semi-finals, where first in one group plays second in the other.

4. 

   Semi-finals, then the final

   The two semi-final winners play the final. The winner and the runner-up both take prize money.

5. 

   First to 6, then 6, then best of 3

   Group matches are first to 6 games, with a tie-break at 5–5. The semi-finals are first to 6, with a tie-break at 5–5. The final is best of 3 sets: each set is to 6 games, with a tie-break at 6–6.
